This project was created in one of my design classes. I made a mini-dress inspired by the dark circus. I wanted to highlight the contrast between the child-like feeling of the circus and, at the same time, the creepiness that is shown in horror films. This piece was constructed out of faux suede fabric and two sheer red fabrics: one is lace and the other is chiffon.
